DSC00036 editProperty Brokers are delighted to announce that Pastoral Realty Limited's Real Estate business is combining under the Property Brokers brand.

Pastoral Realty and Property Brokers have combined to establish a specialised, real estate and property management service with aspirations to lead the provincial realty market in the greater Waipa and King Country regions. Pastoral Realty has been identified with rural real estate since its inception by its principal Brian
Peacocke 28 years ago.

"We have found real synergy between the Pastoral Realty Limited team and our people. Pastoral Realty has a long history and is well respected in rural New Zealand. This merger gives Property Brokers a great opportunity to be represented in Te Awamutu and the greater Waikato, leveraging our combined strengths," says Conrad Wilkshire, Property Brokers' Rural General Manager.

With settlement confirmed on January 6th, Property Brokers now owns and manages the day-to-day real estate business created from the agreement.

Wilkshire continues, saying, “By increasing our market reach, we can create more opportunities for our customers in the Waikato region. Welcoming Pastoral Realty into the Property Brokers family is very exciting."

Brian Peacocke, founding shareholder, Managing Director and Principal of Pastoral Realty Limited, says, "I have been working on a succession plan for several years now, and for those who have applied themselves to this task, you will know it is not an easy exercise."

"Property Brokers' strong focus on rural real estate and their nationwide coverage are just two of the synergies involved, which were significant considerations in the decision made, fully endorsed by my wife and business partner, Clare," says Peacocke.

The announcement of the merger with Pastoral Realty further broadens Property Brokers’ footprint and scale, adding more resources, and resulting in improved service for customers.

More customers up and down the greater Waipa and King Country regions will now have access to specialist rural, lifestyle and residential real estate services and property management.

Property Brokers is a proudly provincial company, is 100% New Zealand owned, and have over 700 staff across 65 locations, from Kaitaia to Invercargill.
