Property Brokers is pleased to announce the acquisition of Professionals Whakatane Limited and is thrilled to welcome the successful business into their ever-expanding family.

Professionals Whakatane Limited is Whakatane's longest-serving real estate company and has served the local business community for over 60 years. The announcement of the acquisition further broadens Property Brokers' footprint and scale, adding more resources, and resulting in improved service for customers.

"Professionals Whakatane have a long history and are well respected in the local community. This acquisition gives Property Brokers a great opportunity to be represented in Whakatane and the Eastern Bay of Plenty, leveraging our combined strengths," says Bill Highet, Property Brokers' Chief Executive Officer.

With purchase confirmed earlier this month, Property Brokers now owns and manages the day-today residential, rural, lifestyle and commercial real estate as well as rentals and property management business created from this agreement.

Professionals Whakatane Company Directors Kathryn Mckay and Maurice Butler will continue in the business joined by their current team.

"We are a growing business, and our real estate track record is backed up with strong training, systems and marketing support," says Bill Highet.

Kathryn Mckay and Maurice Butler believe the acquisition is an excellent result for the Whakatane District as locals will now have even greater access to specialist rural, lifestyle and residential real estate services and property management.

"Real Estate is a challenging and constantly evolving business. Property Brokers is well resourced, with a great track record in the Provinces. Being a family owned business they have a very compatible culture to ours and we look forward to a progressive future for the business," says McKay and Butler.

Continuing, "We have been a member of the Professionals group for a long time so this decision was not taken lightly however the service and support we will be able to offer clients in both sales and property management will increase even further. For both us and our staff the resources available through this move will assist us greatly in obtaining the best outcome for our clients and so we are excited and eager to move forward under the Property Brokers brand."

Property Brokers is a proudly provincial company, is 100% New Zealand owned, and have over 700 staff across more than 70 locations, from Northland to Southland.
